1. About The 8th Archer
The 8th Archer is a branding, strategy and design studio based in Mumbai, India, working with businesses, founders and organisations across brand strategy, visual identity, packaging, naming, market readiness, cross-market strategy, website direction, brand consulting and related creative services.
For the purpose of these Terms, “The 8th Archer,” “we,” “us,” or “our” refers to Eighth Archer Private Limited, unless otherwise specified.
2. Use of This Website
You may use this website for lawful, personal, informational and business enquiry purposes only.
You agree not to:

4. Services and Enquiries
Submitting an enquiry through our website, email, contact form, social media or any other channel does not create a client relationship, confirmed engagement or obligation on either side.
A project begins only when the scope, fees, timelines, deliverables and commercial terms have been mutually agreed in writing. This may happen through a proposal, quotation, engagement letter, project agreement, email confirmation, invoice or any other written confirmation accepted by both parties.
All services are subject to availability, suitability, timelines, payment terms and scope confirmation.
5. Proposals, Fees and Payments
Any proposal, quotation or estimate shared by The 8th Archer is valid only for the period mentioned in that document or communication. If no validity period is mentioned, the proposal may be revised at our discretion based on changes in scope, timelines, project requirements, market conditions or availability.
Fees, payment schedules, taxes, third-party costs, revisions, cancellation terms and deliverables will be specified separately for each project.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
- work begins only after written approval and receipt of the agreed advance payment;
- timelines begin only once required inputs, approvals, content, assets and payments are received;
- delays in client inputs, approvals or payments may affect delivery timelines;
- additional work outside the agreed scope may be quoted separately;
- third-party costs such as printing, production, hosting, domains, paid fonts, stock imagery, software, plugins, subscriptions, advertising, shipping or vendor fees are usually charged separately or paid directly by the client.
6. Project Timelines and Client Responsibilities
Project timelines depend on timely communication, feedback, approvals, information, assets and payments from the client.
The client is responsible for providing accurate information, required brand/business details, content, legal approvals, product/service claims, regulatory inputs, images, logos, access credentials and other assets needed for the project.
We are not responsible for delays caused by incomplete inputs, delayed approvals, changing requirements, third-party vendors, technical issues, platform limitations or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
7. Revisions and Scope Changes
Revisions included in a project will be defined in the relevant proposal or agreement.
A revision means refinement or adjustment within the approved direction and agreed scope. It does not include a complete change in brief, strategy, direction, deliverables, audience, business model, content structure or project objective unless specifically agreed.
Any additional concepts, new deliverables, major rework, additional rounds of changes, urgent timelines or out-of-scope requests may be quoted separately.
8. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all concepts, strategies, drafts, research, presentations, moodboards, design explorations, working files, methods, frameworks, processes, templates and unpublished ideas created by The 8th Archer remain the intellectual property of The 8th Archer.
Upon full and final payment, the client receives rights to use the final approved deliverables for the agreed purpose and scope. Ownership and usage rights may vary depending on the project and will be defined in the relevant proposal or agreement.
We reserve the right to retain ownership of unused concepts, rejected directions, internal documents, strategic frameworks, creative processes, templates and working files unless separately agreed.
Third-party assets such as fonts, stock images, illustrations, plugins, software, templates, mockups, photography, music, video, AI tools or licensed resources remain subject to their respective third-party licence terms. The client is responsible for complying with such licence terms where applicable.
9. Portfolio and Publicity Rights
Unless confidentiality is agreed in writing, The 8th Archer may display completed work, project names, visuals, case studies, process snippets, outcomes, testimonials, brand names or logos on our website, portfolio, social media, proposals, credentials, award entries, press features or other promotional material.
If a project is confidential, under NDA, unreleased or subject to restrictions, the client must inform us in writing before the project begins or before publication.
10. Confidentiality
Both parties may receive confidential information during a project. We will take reasonable care to protect confidential business, strategic, creative and operational information shared with us.
Confidential information does not include information that is publicly available, already known, independently developed, received from a third party without breach of obligation, or required to be disclosed by law.
Specific confidentiality obligations, NDAs or embargoes should be agreed separately in writing where required.
11. Client Content, Claims and Approvals
The client is responsible for the accuracy, legality and completeness of all information, claims, product details, service descriptions, pricing, certifications, regulatory statements, testimonials, images, references and materials provided to us.
The client is also responsible for obtaining any required permissions, licences, approvals or clearances for content, images, trademarks, third-party references, product claims or regulated category information.
Final approval of any deliverable indicates that the client has reviewed and accepted the content, design, information and usage.
12. No Guaranteed Results
We aim to provide thoughtful, strategic and high-quality branding, design and consulting work. However, we do not guarantee specific commercial outcomes, sales, revenue, search rankings, investor interest, media coverage, audience response, market success, platform performance or business results.
Branding, design, SEO, communication and market readiness outcomes may depend on several external factors, including business model, product quality, pricing, distribution, marketing activity, budget, operations, competition, market conditions, customer behaviour and implementation.
13. Third-Party Links and Tools
This website may contain links to third-party websites, platforms, tools, social media pages, articles, plugins or embedded services. These are provided for convenience or reference.
We do not control and are not responsible for the content, policies, security, accuracy, availability or practices of third-party websites or services. Accessing third-party links is at your own risk.

Our total liability, if any, in relation to a specific paid project shall be limited to the amount paid to us for that specific project, unless otherwise required by law or agreed in writing.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The 8th Archer, its founders, directors, team members, consultants and affiliates from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses arising from:

17. Force Majeure
